Today I traveled to my first assignment, in Houston!! I'm shadowing a friend of mine, so it's bound to be a good time. Flying through Dulles is interesting... not exactly on the way, but I guess when you fly out of Rochester that's what you get.
I ended up sitting next to a girl on the plane from DC to TX that was just coming in from Buenos Aires. She travels, sings, and loves baseball. You can imagine we had plenty to talk about. Flight seemed to take forever, but having someone to talk to definitely helps. Besides, I'm here in SUNNY, HOT, TEXAS!!! Meanwhile, in Rochacha and CT it's cold and snowing. Ain't life grand :)
The hotel we're staying at is amazing - it's in the Woodlands... some sort of super-planned community for people with too much money and not enough time. Seriously, you could buy a house here and never leave. The place has everything. No thank you, I prefer the styx. Get out of my back yard.
